- Keeping the elderly connected

Figma, Google Forms, Fusion 360, Blender

Project Goal: Facilitate a simple interaction between families and their elderly family members, through an interaction for the elderly. A non-obtrusive solution that fits into daily life seamlessly and with minimal effort on the part of the users. With a consideration of the great digital divide between low and high socioeconomic societies (Kowsalya, B. & Sundara Raj, T), it’s essential to design an affordable solution that is accessible to all.

Lotus aims to reduce the feeling of self isolation, promoting interactions that strengthen relationships rather than those which require initiating new ones. We’re providing a way to engage with their families to remain happy, healthy and connected.

What went well - Affordances, physical product, app

What could have been done better - Full network integration
